Number of building permits in Bulgaria increase significantly

The number of building permits in Bulgaria increased significantly in the third quarter of 2018, the National Statistical Institute informs. The number of construction permits for residential buildings saw 12.4% increase as compared to the previous trimester and the number of permits for administrative buildings rose 15.6%. The number of construction permits for residential buildings increased 8.7% year on year and the number of permits for administrative buildings increased with 21.1% year on year. Highest increase of building permits was registered in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.
