- Apprise before you agree to the terms, because even though you are the owner upon signing the contract, you also have RIGHTS and OBLIGATIONS
- Make all arrangements with the knowledge of your agent and support them IN WRITING in an annex to the main contract
- Always INFORM your agent if the tenants are late with the payment
- For all the delays in payments, send written INVITATIONS AND NOTICES to tenants. This is the only way to guarantee your rights if necessary
- Always tell your tenants if you decide to CHECK or VISIT the property without their presence and consent
- Maintain "REPAIRS FUND" and implement the necessary maintenance and repairs by plan or by information from the tenants
- Keep the property INSURED all year round, not just when you have tenants
- If you and not the agency hold the DEPOSIT, do not spend it on running costs because you might need to return it into extraordinary termination of the contract
- Discuss and consult everything with your AGENT - this is the only way to take full advice if necessary
