Bulgaria remains a popular destination for buying a second home

Acording the TheMoveChannel.com`s rating Bulgaria retains its position as one of the most popular destination for buying a second property. It is on 14th place for two months. The share of interpellations for buying a property in the country is 0.8 % from all references made in the site. Over the past year the country went up to fifth place in the alignment of the international portal for real estates and since then it managed to stay in top 20.

Top destinations

According to the international rating, USA remains the most popular destination for buying a property as a second home. It occupies this place for four months. The searching of American estates is 18.3 % from all interpellations, or almost one of every five requests in the site is for second home in USA. France took second place in the rating for second month. The low interests on mortgages, the affordable prices and favorable exchange rates keep attracting Englishmen. Spain takes advantage on euro boost and the low prices, returning on third place which is 6.37 % of interpellations. In top 10 are also Portugal, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Italy, India and Argentina.

Interest return

An interesting fact is that in top five is Turkey. It went up with five positions since December 2015. Despite the attacks in Istanbul on 12th of January, the new researches on TheMoveChannel.com show that international investors in real estates did not gave up on buying in the country. On the other hand in Egypt investors draw back. The country wend down with 24 places in the rating to number 45, because it did not managed to revive the international tourism and investment interest.
