| The Feast of Bread in the village of Resen | ||
In the village of Resen will be celebrated the feast of bread for fourth year. It will be held on 2nd of July. The event is organized by the community center and the town hall of the village. The event is under the title “No one is bigger than the bread”. Every year the feast is held on the first Saturday in July. It is included in the community center’s cultural calendar. It is organized as a competition and has two categories – culinary and folk art. In the category “folk art”, customs and songs will be introduced. In the other category – culinary will be introduced an exhibition of ritual breads, banitsa and other food made by the competitors. Competent jury will rate the competitors and prize them with three awards for overall performance. There will be also an exhibition “The bread`s way”. During the feast all visitors can try delicious cakes, manna croup, boiled sweet corn and other treats which will be made there. |
